FabLab Shibuya is going to start the collaboration project “3DP Fab Challenge” with Stratasys Japan. This 3 months project aims to discover new perspectives of 3D printing through using Objet24. Participants can try and test the latest high resolution 3D printer, and exchange each experiences through this project.

To Start this project, FabLab Shibuya would like to invite you to our project.

Participants can try and test their prototyping during this project using Objet24. We are going to held 3 time open talk session in this project, which non-participants can take a glance at the future of 3D printings.

Objet24 will be placed in our lab during this project, and any one is welcome to take a look. If you are considering to purchase in your place, now is the chance.

    Participants will cooperate each other in concept of “Learn-Make-Share”. You can learn how to use Objet24, you can make your prototype with Objet24, and you can share experiences with other participants.

    Kick Off MTG ：Feb.19 (Wed.) 19:30-20:30 in FabLabShibuya
    1st 3DP Night ：Mar.13 (Thu.) 19:30-20:30 Unfixed (Public open event)
    2nd 3DP Night ：Apr.10 (Thu.) 19:30-20:30 Unfixed (Public open event)
    3rd 3DP Night ：May.8 (Thu.) Unfixed Unfixed (Public open event)

    *Guidance of Objet24 and exchange meeting will be held in Kick Off MTG.
    *Every 3DP Night will be public event, and every participants must presentate their works.

    2 / 3 (Mon.) – 2/ 12 (Wed.) 18:00 JST
    You can entry with your team or as an individual.
    We would like to organize 5 or 6 project teams. Announce date are planned on Feb.14 (Fri.).

    *Please fill “3DP Fab Challenge” in subject form.
    *Please specify the Name of Team, Names of every members, Age, Belongings, and What you aim to do in this project.

    Requirements
    1. Participants must publish their 3D data as an open source under CC Licence.
    2. Participants (at least one person in the team) must join in every programs in this project.
    3. Participants who can charge a part of material fee (We will supply fixed amout of materials to each teams).
    4. Person who has basic skills of 3D modeling.

▼For people whose living outside Japan

    FabLabShibuya would like to support participants from foreign countries. You can send us your 3D data and test your model to print. It’s better if you can participate in each events, but you can also join us through Google Hangout. Please contact/inquire us if you are interested.
    *We’re still in terms of sending back the 3D model to every participants.
